Eating Healthy for Your Kids
Parents must remember that their kids watch everything they do. They pay attention to how we talk, how we treat other people and even how we eat. This is why it is important for us to pay attention to our diets. We want our kids to be healthy and like nutritious foods. To accomplish this parents must remember to watch what we eat and even say about food in front of our children.
Fat is a bad word for many parents. The truth is that we all need some fat in our diets, especially growing children. Parents should make dessert a normal part of the meal so kids don't see them as special treats. Another good tip is to never skip breakfast in front of your children. You tell them it is the most important meal of the day so practice what you preach! Finally, don't tell your kids which food you don't particularly care for. You do want your children to try these foods so do not give them a reason not to. Keeping all of this in mind will have both you and your family on a more nutritious diet!
