60 One-Minute Memory Makers
Fun and Easy Ways to Create Family Memories That Last a Lifetime

By By David & Claudia Arp

Introduction (Conclusion)

Because we all have some time – however little – and because it’s not always easy to know how to use it, we’ve put together this little book of minute memory-builders to help you use the time you do have. Now obviously, our minute memory-builders may take more than a minute. The key is they don’t take lots of time and they are easy to do! Most of our memory-builders are from the Arp Family Archives and are things we actually did as a family. Obviously, we remember them! But be forewarned, as you begin to use our book, we did these things over a family lifetime. Don’t try to do them all the first week – you’ll end up hating us! We suggest that you use this book once a week or twice a month. It is not a book to read straight through, but instead is a resource of simple, easy, and quick ideas that you can use to add to your family’s fun and storehouse of memories.

So, whether you’re a couple, single parent, guardian, grandparent, aunt, or uncle – whatever your situation – let us encourage you, start today and use the little moments you do have to build memories. When your children grow up and leave home, they won’t leave empty-handed. They’ll have memories on top of memories – just like Joel! Believe us, it worked at our house!
