Dealing With His Female Roommate
You think you are a very understanding girlfriend. You watch wrestling on TV, you believe in time with friends, and you are even cool with his female roommate. There is only one problem. Your guy and his girl roomies are old friends from high school and all they ever talk about is old times. You often feel left out when she is around and it usually ends up making you upset. How do you deal with a situation like this? Try not to push her away. Instead try to make her useful. Do not be intimidated by her and certainly don't get jealous Get friendly! When the nostalgia factor kicks in between the two of them ask questions and get details about the stories so that next time you can join in. Also, hang out with her and invite her to do things with you and your guy. This way you can make your own memories and inside jokes. Maybe they talk about the past so much because they don't have as much to talk about in the present. You can change this with some interest and friendliness on your part.
