Esther Davis-Thompson
Esther Davis-Thompson is an emerging voice in the African American community and a mother of ten children, from the ages of 4 to 23. A graduate of Rutgers University, with a degree in English and a Teaching Certification in Early Childhood Education, she has served as the director of the Camden Free Public Library After School Program and Summer Activities Program. She has also been an instructor at Camden County College in Child Psychology, Basic Writing Skills, and Teaching Children to Write Creatively. As a free-lance writer, she has been published by Family Circle magazine. Esther lives in Camden, New Jersey, with her husband, Art, and their ten children, Art Jr., James, Shawn, Patrick, Amanda, Sarah, Colleen, Ryan, Ashley, and Alexander.
