Patty Howell, Ed.M., A.G.C.
Patty Howell, Ed.M., A.G.C. has extensive experience as a Psychological Counselor and Counselor Educator at Washington University, and in presenting interpersonal communication programs to enthusiastic groups around the world. She was head of Effectiveness Training’s Individual Training Division, and as president and founder of several non-profit organizations, has developed projects in the U.S., China, and Hungary, which promote world peace and alleviate unemployment. She is the author of many Howell-Jones Training programs used in the U.S. and abroad. Patty is especially known for her powerful, warmly emotional and energy-charged training style. Ralph Jones Ralph Jones has over 30 years training experience with Effectiveness Training International and Howell-Jones Trainings. As the first professional to join Dr. Thomas Gordon when Effectiveness Training began, he taught the parent, teacher, and leadership courses and trained thousands of course instructors in the U.S. and throughout the world. In addition, Ralph has authored training materials for programs used on six continents. Ralph is past vice president of the San Diego World Trade Association. Ralph is widely admired for his warmth, humor, listening skills, and clarity of teaching. During their more than 20 years of marriage and professional association, the authors have conducted communication and management training programs in 14 countries around the world.
