Dr.'s Les and Leslie Parrott
The Center for Relationship Development on the campus of Seattle Pacific University is a groundbreaking program dedicated to teaching the basics of good relationships through classroom education, seminars, research, and marriage mentoring. Co-directing the Center are Drs. Les and Leslie Parrott.
Les is a professor of clinical psychology and Leslie is a marriage and family therapist at SPU.
The Parrott's been featured on many national radio and television programs such as "Oprah," "NBC Nightly New with Tom Brokaw," "CBS This Morning," "The View," "Good Morning America
Sunday," and CNN. They have also been interviewed on network affiliates around the country.
The Parrotts have contributed to many articles published in such magazines as Redbook, Men's Health, Family Circle, Woman's Day, Brides and are regular columnists for the Marriage Partnership.
Their work has also been written about in newspapers across the country such as USA Today, New York Times, Los Angeles Times, Chicago Tribune, Newsday and many others.
The Parrotts have written several books such as: Relationships, The Control Freak, Becoming Soulmates, Getting Ready for the Wedding, Saving Your Marriage Before it Starts, A Kiss on the Lips and many others.
