Colleen Sell is the editor of A Cup of Comfort. She is the former founding
editor-in-chief of two award-winning consumer magazines - Biblio: Exploring
the World of Books and Mercator's World: The Magazine of Maps, Exploration,
and Discovery. Her work has been widely published in numerous periodicals,
and she has edited, ghosted, or co-written 45 books.
When not wordsmithing
for hire, Colleen writes novels, creative nonfiction, screenplays, feature
articles, and nonfiction trade books. She is the author of Tripping into
Madness: A Mother's Memoir of a Son's Mental Illness (in press). She
recently co-developed a column in which she and collaborator Norman Prady
simultaneously write an essay on the same topic, giving their sometimes
contrasting, sometimes complementary, and always compelling "takes" on the
ordinary and extraordinary events of life; it is currently being marketed
for syndication.
