Brenda Cooper, former model and Emmy award-winning costume designer, has played many roles in the fashion industry. And, like millions of men and women, she has faced many a style emergency. But this wife, mother, and successful career woman has somehow managed to balance a busy personal life and high-profile career and always look great. In fact, you can see Brenda Cooper most days as the co-host of America's top rated fashion programs, E! Fashion Emergency, bringing her phenomenal sense of style, wit, and humor to viewers as she creates astounding fashion makeovers ranging from former nuns, to CEOs, to celebrities.
Born in England, Cooper brought her sophisticated passion for clothes to the United States, and with her enthusiasm for flair and fashion, she soon entered the competitive field of wardrobe consulting. Before long, while working in film and television, Cooper was dressing stars such as Faye Dunaway, Delta Burke, Patty Labelle, Twiggy, and Christian Slater. By 1993, she was creating the chic and unique style of Fran Drescher, on the popular prime-time television series, "The Nanny", a look which earned her an Emmy Award.
Today, Cooper performs her remarkable wardrobe wizardry in front of television cameras and in print. She has shared her knowledge and expertise with viewers of E!, Entertainment Tonight, CNN, The View, and The Other Half. She has been featured in National Magazines such as InStyle, Self, Allure, and The New York Post.
With her intuitive feel for people, combined with an encyclopedic knowledge of clothes, Brenda Cooper is a style and image connoisseur who effortlessly makes the often overwhelming world of fashion accessible to everyone.
This philosophy has lead Cooper to take on a new challenge as the spokesperson for DuPont LYCRA® and Barely There, an intimate apparel company from Sara Lee.
Brenda Cooper lives in Los Angeles with her husband Andrew and their two sons.
