FAQ’s
After I sign-on to the Lovegevity program as a booking vendor…what’s next?
First, welcome to Lovegevity! Once we receive your initial paperwork and set-up fee, your company information will be posted to the vendor directory within two business days.
How will I know my company has been posted?
As soon as you are listed you will be sent an email confirmation with a link to your listing to review. If you would like to make any changes to your listing, you may do so by logging into your Member Profile. If you are unsure of your password and username please email staff@lovegevity.com.
What is the code in my email confirmation for?
As preferred Lovegevity member we ask that you display this graphic on your website. This lets our brides know you are a booking vendor member when they visit your site.
Is it required that I display the Lovegevity award graphic?
We suggest that you display our graphic to acknowledge our partnership, but you may chose not to put it on your website.
Once I am posted, when do I start receiving my bridal registrations?
Our automation system will start sending you local bridal registrations immediately following your posting. Bridal registrations will only be sent to you if a bride has registered for your category of business (photography, florist, caterer, etc.).
You will be sent all wedding dates that are still open of brides who have registered and these will be no more than 90 days from the date of you joining our network.

Why am I sent the bride’s information if a consultant is going to be working with her?
A Lovegevity consultant or Corporate Account Executive will be assigned and assisting the brides that have registered with us and promoting your business when applicable. However, the bride may stop in to your place of business or want to contact or meet with you on her own. Registrations confirm you are aware of her wedding date and requested information. It also helps to keep everyone in the know.
How will Lovegevity promote my services to the brides?
First, the brides will be sent an email with your contact information, rates or whatever else you asked us to market about your services.
We will promote the marketing information you provided to us when you joined the program. Our consultants will also be promoting your services to the bride throughout her planning process. Lovegevity uses a bridal checklist to keep the bride on track, but the bride ultimately makes the final decisions as to when things get done.
If there are other vendors competing for the same bride, how can I be sure my services are being promoted fairly?
Every bride is looking for something different and vendors are unique in their own way. Brides have different budgets, particular tastes and personalities of their own. It is Lovegevity’s responsibility to be able to offer our brides a variety, while still keeping them within our network.
We will focus on your specialties, unique offerings and price range. The better we know your business the better we can fill the brides needs.
Lovegevity will not partner and list every vendor in a market (we are not the Yellow Pages); rather we are looking to form long-lasting partnerships with premier quality vendors. It’s all about building our relationship.
How many vendors do you have in every category?
That depends on the market size, the number of brides we are working with, the number of Lovegevity representatives we have handling the market and the quality of vendors available.
Is a Lovegevity consultant an employee or an independent contractor?
The company’s philosophy is that everyone benefits from performance paid commissions and we have found it brings out the best in everyone. All of our consultants are independent wedding consultants and work on commission.
What is the Nest Egg Program and how does it affect vendors?
Lovegevity offers each bridal client the opportunity to enroll in a Nest Egg Program. This program gives couples cash back for using Lovegevity vendors. When a bride enrolls in the program she gives feedback on the vendors used for her wedding and the performance of those vendors. As soon as Lovegevity receives the commission payment from vendors a check is sent to the bridal client to help the couple start their savings or "Nest Egg".
Will Lovegevity keep me booked all year long?
In forming this relationship we hope to grow together, however we do not guarantee to be your only source of business. As our relationship develops we will both have a better understanding of our potential as partners.
How long will it take before I book a Lovegevity bride?
The "bouquet" is in the bride’s court. We all know the bride and groom are the final decision makers and we all must work on their schedule. You receive the brides’ registration immediately after she registers.
Keep in mind that our brides usually register as soon as they are engaged and are registering everywhere for everything they can find. If the bride takes some time to respond or book…this is only a natural part of the process.
Lovegevity brides are also working woman who are surfing the web during office hours. They are busy and we try to make their wedding planning simple and stress free. We work on the brides’ schedule.
What is considered unprofessional or substandard performance?
To ensure the quality and reputation of our services, Lovegevity follows-up with each bridal-client and request feedback from her experience with you (the vendor). Vendors are rated by Lovegevity brides, based on quality, service and professionalism she experienced before, during and after her wedding day.
When a complaint is received from a bridal-client Lovegevity immediately investigates the complaint and contacts the vendor and the bridal-client. Each complaint will be dealt with on a case-by-case basis. Any vendor receiving three complaints from bridal-clients will result in their listing being immediately removed from Lovegevity’s website. Lovegevity reserves the right to discontinue our partnership at anytime. Upon termination all outstanding balances for bookings will be due within 30 days. Set-up fees are non-refundable.
